Necromancer here...
First character i've created was a N/E. after that i rolled back to N/Mo coz i didn't know the secondary could be changed after ascension.
Still my most played character with over half of my 2100+ hours playing time under his belt

Warrior,
I'm surprised to see ranger winning at the moment, but ranger was my second character.

Ranger
He now has 3.4mil exp
Infact hes the only PvE char I have left and the only one I've ever finished a chapter with (factions and Prophicies) all the others I've started and not liked. It will be awhile befor ehe completes NF, I honestly dont like it.

first was a tank . . . easy toon to learn game basics on but imo, boring 2nd was a monk . . by far most favorite toon and main character. it seems any other toon I make gets put back on the shelf and becomes a mule . . I have 3 others . . ranger, fire ele, dervish

Quite interesting how popular the traditional damage-dealing roles (warrior, ranger, elementalist) are so much more popular than the core professions, with monk, the most popular group profession of all, being by far the lowest.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people made a monk shortly afterwards. I know I did. As soon as my ele was through to the Ring of Fire, I got disgusted with the 20-1 ratio of monks and made my own (he's still my favorite character).

Warrior. It was a W/N using touch spells and other blood magic spells. Anyways I deleted that char after couple days of playing and created an elementalist, which I deleted in a week or so.

I typically play a Mage type character in these kind of games, and Elementalist was the closest profession to that and so I chose that as my first profession.

Elementalist. First class I created and really stuck with. My ele has most of my hours in overall playtime and she's the only one I'ver ever not considered deleting and re-creating.
I picked Ele because I love the idea of raining fire down on the enemies head and even with the AoE changes I feel ele's can still really dish out the damage and be effective.

Started out with monk, going mo/e, firestorm ft.. I was pressured by my cousin to start as a monk because there weren't many at all, still I played 1000/2000 hours with it, the other 1000 are from war, nec, and rit, ive made an ele and ranger once for each campaign. The only class I haven't tried in pve is mesmer, got alot of skills unlocked, wouldn't be a problem doing.

Long thread. o.O
My first character was a E/W. For some reason, I liked the idea of having powerful spells and a sword or something...the combo worked well actually. That is, until I got to Kryta or so. I no longer have that ele, but I do have a level 20 ele from Tyria. So now my oldest character is my monk.

Wow, its cool to see I'm one of the few that took the monk option first. Out of the core professions, we've got the lowest percentiles.

My first was an Ele, this was during the E3 open beta. After retail release of Prophecies, I went W/N. She's still what I consider my main char. I did finally create another Ele after NF release...and I've been playing her exclusively ever since.
